Au 1er tour de l'élection présidentielle du 10 avril 2022 dans les Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Emmanuel MACRON est arrivé en tête avec 27,80 % des suffrages exprimés, devant Jean-Luc MÉLENCHON (18,94 %) et Marine LE PEN (17,38 %), selon le ministère de l'Intérieur.

La participation dans les Pyrénées-Atlantiques au 1er tour de la présidentielle 2022 (78,82 %) est supérieure de 5,13 points à celle de la France entière (73,69 %) et supérieure de 0,39 point à celle de Nouvelle-Aquitaine (78,43 %).

Depuis la présidentielle 2017, la participation dans les Pyrénées-Atlantiques est passée de 80,62 % à 78,82 % (−1,80 point), contre −4,08 points en France entière.

Les Pyrénées-Atlantiques se classe 18e sur 101 départements pour la participation au 1er tour de la présidentielle 2022, et 5e sur 12 dans sa région.
