Au 1er tour de l'élection présidentielle du 10 avril 2022 en Ille-et-Vilaine, Emmanuel MACRON est arrivé en tête avec 34,50 % des suffrages exprimés, devant Jean-Luc MÉLENCHON (22,20 %) et Marine LE PEN (17,06 %), selon le ministère de l'Intérieur.
La participation en Ille-et-Vilaine au 1er tour de la présidentielle 2022 (79,08 %) est supérieure de 5,39 points à celle de la France entière (73,69 %) et supérieure de 0,29 point à celle de Bretagne (78,79 %).
Depuis la présidentielle 2017, la participation en Ille-et-Vilaine est passée de 84,02 % à 79,08 % (−4,94 points), contre −4,08 points en France entière.
Ille-et-Vilaine se classe 11e sur 101 départements pour la participation au 1er tour de la présidentielle 2022, et 2e sur 4 dans sa région.
