Au 1er tour de l'élection présidentielle du 10 avril 2022 en Charente, Emmanuel MACRON est arrivé en tête avec 27,57 % des suffrages exprimés, devant Marine LE PEN (26,18 %) et Jean-Luc MÉLENCHON (19,36 %), selon le ministère de l'Intérieur.

197 699 électeurs ont voté en Charente sur 257 608 inscrits, soit une participation de 76,74 % au 1er tour de l'élection présidentielle du 10 avril 2022.
