Au 1er tour de l'élection présidentielle du 10 avril 2022 dans le Loir-et-Cher, Emmanuel MACRON est arrivé en tête avec 27,92 % des suffrages exprimés, devant Marine LE PEN (27,77 %) et Jean-Luc MÉLENCHON (16,80 %), selon le ministère de l'Intérieur.
La participation dans le Loir-et-Cher au 1er tour de la présidentielle 2022 (75,75 %) est supérieure de 2,06 points à celle de la France entière (73,69 %) et supérieure de 0,76 point à celle du Centre-Val de Loire (74,99 %).
Depuis la présidentielle 2017, la participation dans le Loir-et-Cher est passée de 81,12 % à 75,75 % (−5,37 points), contre −4,08 points en France entière.
